The Bear Season 3 took a lot of risks with storytelling, pace, and energy. I read a lot of negative feedback about how it compares to other seasons, but it’s a perfect part 3 to this saga. The acting, writing, direction, editing, and soundtrack is absolutely gripping. This season was truly TV at its finest and about as close to being a work of art that a series can get. From the heavy first 2 episodes to just little things like Ebraheim showing appreciation for the help with the window service. “Napkins” is the standout episode with Michael and Tina’s scene giving us a masterclass in understated acting. I’m betting show creator Christopher Storer’s own ‘non-negotiable list is pretty similar to Carmy’s.
