As the
first great American giant monster movie, King Kong had a ton of
great scares for audiences that had never seen anything like it.
Though by today's standards, the animation of Kong often has more
charm than chills, it still holds up as a pretty scary treat. A
favorite scene of many is when the rescue party is running across a
giant log, and Kong, on the other side, begins rocking and shaking it
violently making most of them fall to their death into the valley
below.
