How exciting to see that the promising fake trailer for Hobo With A Shotgun is actually being made into a real movie, starring none other than Rutger Hauer, with a May 27th release date.
For the uninitiated, here’s the trailer that started it all (very not safe for work)! I love the narrator dialogue, “He’s cashing in his nickles and dimes for a new way of life!.
And here’s the preview for the actual film! Can’t wait to see it. It looks just as cheesy and lurid as the source material. It’s currently got a 90% Positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s sure nice to see some over the top crazy flicks like this, Machete, and Piranha 3D getting major releases. Support grindhouse cinema and give it a look, won’t you? I’m also happy to learn that David Brunt, the original trailer’s hobo, will be in the official film as a cop!
Save your money folks… Saw it, thanks too my boot-legging buddies. God bless them!. Fucking awe…full! Typical low budget film.
Rob Wells from “Trailer Park Boys” makes a cameo appearance in the film, not surprising as I think most of the film was shot here in Nova Scotia, Canada.
That is the most Badass trailer I’ve ever seen. Rutger is the baddest cat in the
valley an always will be. Rutger was born in 44 and can still play a badass.
Only other to person to play a tough guy at his age was Charles Bronson
and he had balls dipped in gold, so Rutger is in good company.
Rutger has old boxer shorts that could kick my ass.
I owe him nothing but Awe.
