I wasn't much of a fan of The Crue while I was an 80s high school student, but I've grown to realize that the hard partying boys were as important as Van Halen when it came to great rockin' music of the time.  retroCRUSH's own Slacker lobbied hard for their inclusion and wrote as his favorite cool song moment, "The silence and the generic kick-tom fill right before the chorus sets up the quality 80's vocals as the words "I'm on my Waaaay" belt out."  I'm getting chills myself just thinking about it.
