retroCRUSH fan Erik Berg gave us this passionate recommendation,
"The guitar solo on Blue Oyster Cult's 'Don't Fear the Reaper'. It builds
quietly then EXPLODES in a hot, spurting load of guitar-god love. From there, it
cavorts all over the fret board like Malcom McDowell in "Caligula", and is even
more horribly compelling. Finally, it howls off into the night, like some
barbarian lord and his wench airbrushed on to the side of my Dodge Tradesman
fleeing from the parking lot when the security guards trundle over to break up
the impromptu beer bust behind the 7-11 last Saturday night."
