Queen's another one of those bands that I could fill a list of great things
about, but it's the incredible "Under Pressure" they recorded with David Bowie
that deserves special praise here. Sure, you get that incredible beginning
that was ripped off by Vanilla Ice for his "Ice Ice Baby" tune, but it's about
2:07 into the song that things really get
kicking. Bowie's amazing deep vocals and Freddie Mercury's inimitable
scream go off while the drummer, Roger Taylor, proceeds to hit his drum set with
a maddening fury. This song is easily one of my all time favorites, as
well.
